ATM Simulator
A working ATM you can use without a real card or a real account. Insert the card, enter the PIN, and try withdrawals, deposits, balance checks, and transfers — including the ones that get refused. Finding out what happens when you ask for more than you have is the part worth doing.
- 1Press Expand to full screen below so the whole machine fits on your screen.
- 2Click the ATM card on the right side to insert it, then enter the PIN 1234 on the keypad.
- 3Choose a transaction, then take your cash and receipt when the machine offers them. Press Esc or Close to come back to this page.
If the simulator will not load
Some school networks block embedded content. Opening it in its own tab gets around that, and gives you the whole window to work in.

Try to break it on purpose. Withdraw more than the balance. Ask for an amount the machine has no bills for. Enter the wrong PIN. Every one of those refusals is a real rule a real ATM follows, and knowing them beforehand is the difference between confidence and panic at a machine with a line behind you.

Why the words matter more than the numbers. If the numeral box and the written line disagree, the bank pays whatever you wrote out in words. That is why the words line is the one to slow down on, and why you fill any leftover space on it with a long dash — so nobody can add a word after yours.

Balance a Checkbook Ledger
A ledger is the running record of what is actually in your account. Every deposit adds, every check, card purchase, and fee subtracts, and the balance column has to be right on every single line — because the next line is built on it.
Fill in the balance after each transaction, then press Check my work. Press New ledger for a fresh set of transactions.

One wrong line makes every line after it wrong. That is why this activity is graded row by row. If your arithmetic on a row was right but the number you started from was not, the simulator says so rather than just marking it wrong — find the first red row, fix that one, and the rest usually fall into place.
